I've got good news for you. This first phase is all about relief. One of the main things that keeps folks from their health and energy goals is they're running on overdrive and old programming.

 

Using somatic techniques you can learn and discern exactly what your body needs to shift gears and take any guesswork out of it.

Release and Regulate

 

The step most people miss when making moves to make health changes on a physical, emotional, or mental level is this one.

 

When you operate on top of tense and dysregulated patterns and pathways you run the risk of enhancing and more deeply embedding these processes. This can make you feel more tense, tired, and amplify unwanted symptoms.

 

Learning the specific and unique ways your body responds to tension and how to accurately read the signals so you can rewire them is key to making aligned change with greater ease.

Once you have turned on your Kinesthetic Intelligence (know how to listen to your body) and created a somatic sense of safety and calm, you can make moves in the right direction for you!

The Method

So what’s the first step???

 

We get you moving…but not in a traditional “here’s a workout, now go do it” kind of way.

Over the course of 90 days I will guide you through specific somatic practices to help you recalibrate your relationship with movement and your body. Your goal will guide us.  

We will get your nervous system regulated and create a body practice plan that actually feels good to do.

 

Here's how...
 
 
Release

You can’t build a new rhythm on top of an old one. We need to do a little conscious deconstruction first.  The body stores tensions from life’s movement which can lock up emotional energy.  The pillar of release is meant to clear the way so that any move you make is more effective and efficient.

 
Realign

We are talking physical, emotional, and energetic realignment here.  We will look at your posture and alignment patterns and gear your body practices to support an uplifted body and energy level.  This approach is done from the inside out, not just honoring the energetic/emotional, but supporting the structural from the deeper core muscles and moving out from there.

 
Strengthen

This is where you get to really utilize your new energy.  Build your inner and outer strength simultaneously to create lasting change that actually feels nourishing rather than punishing/depleting.  We will find ways to build strength that will suit your desires, preferences, and lifestyle. We will mostly focus on strengthening around the energetic and emotional habits you have re-formed. 

 
Refine

Looping back through the previous pillars, we will use any new body wisdom gained along the way to keep you going and uncover new layers and levels of your empowered health.

Awaken your body awareness

Feeling stuck? All we need to do is connect your conscious awareness to your body's wisdom. It's easier than you thought and this system will teach you the practical tools to bypass your stubborn (and I say that with love) mind and go right to your nervous system where we can get things moving.

 

Develop your kinesthetic intelligence

This is your real "6th sense" - your physical sense of proprioception. Your body already has this wired (look it up!) All you need to do is learn how to detect it, decode it, and decide exactly how to act upon it.

 

Create Conscious Body Practices

Once you have the spaciousness to connect with your proprioceptive sense and the capacity to understand what your body's wisdom is trying to tell you, the next step is to make aligned choices on how to move. This includes postural corrections, daily movement habits, and dedicated movement moments (some people call these exercises). I walk you through this and teach you how to do it on your own.

We have the knowledge now that we can change our DNA. We can re-route trauma, anxiety, and depression at the level of the brain and nervous system. We can lift from depression rather than silencing it.

But big pictures can be difficult, if not seemingly impossible to make moves on. Especially if there is stress or overwhelm. You get paralyzed, stuck, frozen, or numb and running the other way.

Your body is a map of your emotional history – every move you make either drives the pain patterns in more deeply OR helps to unravel the tension and unleash your strength and vitality.

I take a diagnostic approach to your body’s layers.  We’re talking nervous system, neuromuscular rhythms, neural grooves, proprioception, and physical & emotional alignment! I address the root causes that perpetuate old patterns keeping you stuck, and dismantle the blocks that are holding you back from feeling the way you want to feel in your body.

 

I help you understand what your body is truly telling you

by decoding the language of your body: SENSATION.

 

I take you through a sensory experience to create an immediate, nervous-system-level shift. Then I co-create with you a movement blueprint that will move you forward effectively, efficiently, and with greater ease according to your body’s wisdom.
